A case of idiopathic pericardial effusion in dog

Abstract

|
|
A 4-year-old, female pomeranian was admitted to Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Seoul National University for evaluating cough and acute abdominal distension. Idiopathic pericardial effusion was diagnosed by radigraphy, echocardiography and analysis of the effusions. After repeated pericardiosentesis, whole clinical signs were improved but small volume of effusion had been continued.
